Sheikh Imran Hosein- Iqbal and Pakistan’s Moment of Truth

January 28, 2010 at 7:59 pm (Allama Iqbal, Global Issues, India, Islam, Khilafa, Pakistan, Politics) (, , , , , , , )

By Sheikh Imran Hosein

Time is running out for Pakistan. Scholars of Islam have a duty to prepare Muslims for destructive attacks that are soon to be launched which will target not only Pakistan but perhaps, Turkey and Iran as well. Those who control power in Britain, USA, and Israel, and who now have a strategic ally in India, are already waging unjust war on Islam and Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Yemen, Somalia and elsewhere, but most of all in the Holy Land (otherwise known as Palestine). Their ruthlessness is such that they would wage war even upon their own people if such were deemed to be necessary. The 9/11 terrorist attack on America which killed thousands of innocent people was an ominous example of what they are capable of doing. Their goal is to deliver to Israel the rule over the whole world, and this cannot be achieved so long as Pakistan possesses nuclear military power. The recent US military occupation of Haiti in consequence of a massive earthquake for which the US Armed Forces seem to have been mysteriously prepared (right down to drills conducted on the very eve of the earthquake) displays for the umpteenth time the extent to which they would commit monstrously evil deeds in pursuit of goals such as the overthrow of Venezuela’s courageous government.

Obama’s screwing of American workers and his and Hillary’s links to India

January 16, 2010 at 11:51 pm (Global Issues, India, Politics) (, , )

By Wayne Madsen

There is a reason why the corporate media focused on White House state dinner crashers Tareq and Michaele Salahi at last year’s gala honoring Indian Prime Minister Monmohan Singh. The media, which acts in lockstep with major corporate owners like Microsoft and General Electric in pushing for the import of low-wage Indian information technology and other high-technology workers into the United States on H1-B visas, did not want anyone focused on the deal worked out between President Obama and Singh.

Obama was cementing a deal on further Indian workers coming to the United States, a “deal” Obama announced during the height of the primary battle in early 2008 as he was raking in campaign contributions from wealthy Indians — citizens and non-citizens alike.

Obama stated, “I will support a temporary increase in the H-1B visa program as a stopgap measure until we can reform our immigration system comprehensively. I support comprehensive immigration reform that includes improvement in our visa programs, including our legal permanent resident visa programs and temporary programs, including the H-1B program, to attract some of the world’s most talented people to America. We should allow immigrants who earn their degrees in the U.S. to stay, work, and become Americans over time. As part of our comprehensive reform, we should examine our ability to replace a stopgap increase in the number of H1B visas with an increase in the number of permanent visas we issue to foreign skilled workers.”

However, Obama never intended to reform the H-1B system that robs educated and talented Americans of their jobs in the American economy and wage earning potential.

US pressuring Pakistan on Afghan-India trade

January 14, 2010 at 2:07 am (Economics, Global Issues, India, Politics) (, , , )

The Pakistan answer was NO. What part of NO don’t you understand.

Pakistan is being pressured to allow Afghan-India trade. When the American agriculture secretary came to Islamabad he came ostensibly to help Islamabad improve its agriculture–well now the actual intentions have been laid bare. The US wants to help Bharat (aka India) trade with Afghanistan and beyond. The once totally compliant government of Mr. Asif Zardari has gathered some gumption and is resisting US pressure. The PPPP knows fully well that an obsequious behaviour will confirm certain defeat at the polls. Recenty Mr. Zardari has resurrected Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto’s slogan–we will fight a thousand years to liberate Kashmir. This from the lips of a man who in the first week of his presidency had said that Pakistanis and Indians should put Kashmir on the back burner and that the next generations should look at Kashmir.
